Bösendorfer Pianos

Quite simply... The Rolls-Royce of Pianos. Low production numbers,
and old world craftsmanship are the benchmarks of this
company, located in Vienna, Austria and established in
1828. For the best built, most beautifully designed instruments in the
world, this company, in our opinion, is unequaled by anyone. A real
pleasure to play!

Steinway and Sons Pianos

Steinway and Sons Pianos USA in New York. The world's most famous
piano!
Go to steinway.com (USA site)

THis is an interesting site about the German Steinway piano, but translation
will be required. Despite having the same namesake, German
Steinways are unique in themselves, utilizing all German
Renner actions and many small design differences that
distinguish them from their American counterpart. Interestingly,
German Steinway still produces the model C (7'6"), which has long
been discontinued by American Steinway. There are
no new German Steinway dealers in the United States,
so if you want one, you need to plan a trip to Europe
and pick one out!
